Informácie

What is a rebozo?

A rebozo is a traditional Mexican scarf that has been used by women in Mexico and South America for centuries. The rebozo has a wide range of uses. It is used to support the abdomen during pregnancy, for relaxation techniques, for exercise, during menstruation, but also during more complicated childbirth.

Use:  It is used for childbirth/hypnobirthing, wrapping and supporting the abdomen during pregnancy, during menstruation, for massages and holistic bodywork.

Rebozos are recommended by doulas, midwives and midwives.

What is the value of a rebozo?

Each rebozo is a unique hand-woven piece, individually woven by one weaver. The material is soft and breathable, made of 100% cotton. The finished rebozo is a financial reward for the weaver, the weaving company, the transport and customs companies, and finally for the intermediary, in this case us at steamingvagaia! Your rebozo travels all the way to you from Mexico. Thank you for taking all of this into account when investing in a rebozo.

How to care for the rebozo?

  • Wash by hand or at 30 degrees Celsius
  • Tie the tassels with a rubber band before washing to prevent tangling of the tassels
  • We recommend not to tumble dry or use bleach
  • Use ecological detergents
  • Dry in partial shade or in the sun
